While educating staff is important, RAC audits are just too big a deal to resort to a self audit.
Best practice in this situation would be to hire a coding expert/consultant who will do a mini-audit of your practice to see where you practice weakness is.
From there, your staff should receive training to improve on their performance.
This just makes sense.
Really, with the amount of money on the line, you need to have a fresh set of eyes looking at your files to truly point out any weakness in your process.
